Norway’s Kings of Convenience are playing a sold out show tonight at The Music Box. This is a rare opportunity as they do not tour often. I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while. This is a great track from their 2004 album Riot On An Empty Street.

Beirut is finally back with a new album titled The Rip Tide. It is really good even though it’s very short. This is one of my favorite tracks off it. Zach Condon & co. will be back in L.A. to play the Greek on October 4th. If you can’t wait until then, you’ll have to get up to San Francisco to Outside Lands Festival in a couple of weeks. They play on Sunday, August 14th. I’ll be there.
